Turn your work skills into a Nationally recognised qualification.
WHAT IS RPL?
RPL stands for Recognition of Prior Learning. It is the acknowledgement of a person’s skills and knowledge acquired through previous training, work or life experience.
A qualification gained this way is identical to a qualification gained from studying with all the benefits associated with having a formal qualification.
The primary benefit of RPL is that you can utilise your previous experiences as a way of qualifying, rather than having to attend a course which in most cases requires being done ‘off the job’, in your own spare time.
As RPL is generally cheaper than having to attend a course, it is also a very cost-effective way of acquiring a qualification, which assists in your career development.
The process starts with you being able to gather as much valid and current evidence of your skills, knowledge and experiences as you can.
Our assessors then map this evidence against the Units of Competency that align to your chosen qualification.
If there are any gaps between what you have provided and what is required, we then support and encourage you to identify the evidence to fill the gap, which could include a competency conversation.
KnowledgeAccess: RTO Code 40961, was established after our first-hand experience and frustration of trying to gain qualifications through the recognition of our own work experiences and skills (RPL).
We understand that your expertise is in leadership and management, you don't have time to drop everything and navigate your way through the maze of matching your work experience to the performance criteria.
That's our job, we know leadership and management, and we understand the qualification process.
We believe the process of gathering and collating evidence should be as simple and hassle-free for you as possible.
